Papa Alaev ye'l patriarca d'una familia de músicos virtuosos de Tayikistán. Carismáticu y risonderu, lideró con mano de fierro'l grupu musical The Alaev Family. Cola cayida de la Unión Soviética, Papa Alaev tomó la decisión unillateral de dise del so país natal y foise a vivir a Israel con tola familia.

Fíos y nietos convivieron so un mesmu techu en Tel Aviv y el patriarca sigue esixendo obediencia, dende decidir la comida que se sirve na mesa hasta l'instrumentu que van tocar. A los 81 años, ve como los mozos de la familia remontense contra la so rixidez. Un drama shakesperianu con una gran banda sonora.
