Guillermo Rodríguez Godínez, más conocido como Arkano, el rapero que con quince años ganó la final nacional de la Batalla de los Gallos, en 2009, ofrecerá un concierto en la sala Albéniz de Gijón el 6 de octubre (20 horas). Ese mismo día se cumplirá un año de la publicación de su primer y único disco en solitario, ‘Bioluminiscencia’, cuyo contenido presentará en Asturias.

Se trata de 14 canciones en las que prima un mensaje de transformación y para las que contó con la colaboración de otros artistas consagrados como Nach, El Langui, El Chojin y R de rumba y de talentos emergentes como el argentino Sony, Klau o Argos. En su primer mes de vida, ‘Bioluminiscencia’ se colocó entre los 100 discos más vendidos en España.

La carrera de este artista se ha caracterizado por su participación en las batallas de gallos, donde se ha hecho un nombre en todo el mundo. De hecho, en el año 2016 logró hacerse con la victoria en la final internacional de esta disciplina que se disputó en Chile. Además, ha publicado varios ep’s antes de lanzarse con su primer disco.
