Elia Suleiman escribe, dirige y protagoniza este film en el que afronta la nunca fácil condición de palestino tornándose en un cruce imposible entre Buster Keaton, Jacques Tati y Roy Andersson. Pues es en clave de comedia minimalista y perpleja que Suleiman cuenta cómo sale de Palestina para encontrársela en todos lados, de París a Nueva York, mientras busca financiación para una película, esta película: un reflejo del mundo en su ridiculez, crueldad y contradicciones con el que poder reírnos y pensar al mismo tiempo.
