Playa de Porcía

Meandros e islotes para una ensenada diferente

Porcía es una playa de cantos y arena, de forma triangular compartida por El Franco y Tapia. En ella desemboca el río de mismo nombre que sirve de límite natural para ambos concejos. Destaca por los meandros fluviales y los islotes del Boi.

De fácil acceso y con buenos servicios, desde la playa son visibles restos de un embarcadero de mineral de hierro y diversos norayes en las rocas para el amarre de los barcos. Tiene mucha afluencia, quizá en parte por su belleza, sus arenas doradas y sus aguas especialmente tranquilas.
