El Mare Nostrum (nuestro mar) es canal de comercio desde los fenicios y puente de culturas entre las orillas de Occidente y Oriente.


Más de 7.000 migrantes han perdido la vida intentando cruzar este mar en los últimos dos años. Guerras, hambrunas, persecuciones… Son muchas las razones que desencadenan la huida.


Europa deshumaniza esta tragedia dibujando números y protegiendo sus fronteras. Contar esto es nuestro afán. Explicar las razones es nuestra obligación. Abordar el problema implica hacerse cargo de las causas de este desesperado viaje de guerra y éxodo.


MeMo (Memoria en Movimiento / MeMory in Motion ) es una cooperativa fundada en 2014 por un grupo de fotógrafos de reconocido prestigio internacional, Manu Brabo, José Colón, Guillem Valle y Diego Ibarra Sánchez, junto al italiano Fabio Bucciarelli, comprometidos en documentar el mundo que les rodea.
