De la infancia de una niña de pueblo, acostumbrada a ver morir cerdos, a las mujeres víctimas de la violencia machista, o a aquellos que pierden la vida cruzando un mar en busca de un futuro mejor. Una mujer dice: “Engordamos a los cerdos para comérnoslos, y los hombres hacen que engordemos de pura soledad. Para después, simplemente matarnos. A hostias o a silencios. Porque hay muchas formas de matar. Casi tantas como cerdos hay en el mundo".
