“Un sistema económico cruel al que pronto habrá que cortarle el cuello”. Así se refería Federico García Lorca al capitalismo en una conferencia recital que dio en 1930 en la Residencia de Señoritas de Madrid. Allí presentó su libro Poeta en Nueva York y contó sus “impresiones líricas” tras un año de vida en la ciudad donde fue testigo del Crack del 29, la mayor crisis global de la sociedad capitalista previa a la que estalló en 2008 y en la que hoy seguimos atrapados.
