Existe un nexo común entre estos tres músicos: su pasión por Brasil. La tierra natal en el caso de Tony Cruz, la tierra prometida en caso del resto.
En muchos encuentros de estos tres músicos, grabaciones, concierto e incluso fiestas, la figura de João Gilberto aparece casi sin quererlo, como el sol sobre el cerro de Corcovado...


Su interés en esta música va más allá del origen y la historia de ésta, pasa por arrimar la bossanova a los conceptos y valores que definen el sonido y la improvisación en el siglo XXI.
