¡Ay, Carmela! Es un canto a la supervivencia, a la dignidad del ser humano, un suspiro, un dolor encerrado en un 'Ay', es una historia contada desde los ojos de Paulino, un muerto en vida que necesita aferrarse a la idea de que la aparición de Carmela, una muerta que vuelve a la vida, es real y que el espectáculo debe continuar sea como sea.


Nuestro deseo es poder sumar algo nuevo que decir a un texto, que de por sí, es de una gran belleza y una grandeza que lo ha convertido en un clásico de nuestra dramaturgia contemporánea.
